Life is, sometime, tiring. Especially when you live in the country that located in equatorial area, and your government, in the name of greenhouse effect, persuade you to reduce gas emission with bike to work program. It’s ok if your office has a wonderful bathroom to wipe out your sweaty back and armpit before start working, you can biking around like Lance Armstrong then, if not…, it’s going to be a disaster, there’s no reason for everybody having a long prospective meeting with you. Anyway, biking is also a tiring activity, whether you bike yourself or just look at someone else rides it.
And tiring becomes entertaining, when you find this artwork, a bike by Dendy Darman, title: Behind the Wheel (rubber/plastic/iron) dimension: 100x250cm. Exhibited in Indonesian Art Festival, in Pacific Place Jakarta.
